The Quicksmart QTV20 system allows each room to have its own temperature and heating schedule. QTV20 smart radiator valves communicate wirelessly with the e-Hub and, optionally, with the Q20 Receiver for ON/OFF boiler control.
What is a smart radiator valve?
A smart radiator valve is installed on the thermostatic valve of a radiator and automatically regulates the flow of hot water according to the required room temperature. Each room can have its own temperature setting and heating schedule.
Through the e-Hub and Smart Life / Tuya app, QTV20 valves can be controlled remotely. When the optional Q20 Receiver is included, the system can also send an ON/OFF heating demand signal to the boiler.
The limitations of a single room thermostat
When the entire heating system depends on the temperature measured in one room, comfort can vary considerably throughout the property.
Uneven heating
Rooms heat differently depending on size, position, insulation, solar exposure and radiator output.

QTV20 measures room temperature
The valve monitors the room temperature and compares it continuously with the selected setpoint.
The radiator is regulated
The internal motor opens or closes the radiator valve to regulate hot-water flow.
Receiver can control the boiler
When there is heating demand, the Q20 Receiver can send an ON/OFF command to the boiler.
e-Hub enables smart control
Temperature settings and schedules can be managed remotely from the app.

Can QTV20 start the boiler?
Yes, when the system includes the Q20 Receiver. Heating demand can be transmitted to the receiver, which can send an ON/OFF command to a compatible boiler.
Can I control every radiator separately?
Yes. Each QTV20 smart radiator valve can have its own temperature setting and heating schedule.
Is the e-Hub required?
The e-Hub is required for Smart Life / Tuya app connectivity and smart remote control.
Which radiator valves are compatible?
QTV20 uses an M30 × 1.5 connection and can also be installed on other compatible valve types using the appropriate adapters.
Can QTV20 be used in a mixed heating system?
Yes. QTV20 can control radiators while a separate Q20 system controls underfloor heating zones.
