Q20 RF Receiver Wireless Boiler Control for the Q20 System
Wireless RF receiver for transmitting heating demand between the Q20 Controller and the boiler without a dedicated control cable between the manifold and heat source.
Radio communication with the Q20 system.
Switches the boiler when the heating system requires heat.
Suitable for larger and more complex installations.
Simple integration near the boiler or heat source.
The controller is at the manifold. The boiler may be somewhere else.
In a Q20 Wireless system, the Q20 Controller manages the underfloor heating zones and the thermal actuators installed on the manifold.
When one or more rooms require heat, the system must also communicate that demand to the boiler or compatible heat source.
The Q20 RF Receiver provides this wireless link. It receives the radio signal and switches the heat source through an On/Off demand contact.
Dedicated wireless communication within the Q20 system.
Simple heat-source switching.
Can support extended compatible installations.
230 VAC, 50/60 Hz.
Wireless control all the way to the boiler
Especially useful when the property is already finished or the manifold and boiler are located far apart.
Wireless connection
Heating demand is transmitted by RF between controller and receiver.
Fewer control cables
Avoids a new control cable between the manifold area and boiler.
Useful for renovations
Suitable where adding new wiring through finished walls would be difficult.
Real heat demand
The boiler receives a demand when one or more Q20 zones require heating.
Part of Q20 Wireless
Works with the Q20 Controller, wireless thermostats and thermal actuators.
Extended systems
Support for installations using multiple compatible controllers.
From room temperature to boiler demand
The Q20 RF Receiver completes the wireless path between the room-control system and heat source.
Q20 / Q30
Room thermostats detect the need for heat.
Wireless thermostats →Q20 Controller
Coordinates zones and manifold actuators.
Q20 Controller →Q20 RF Receiver
Receives the wireless heating demand.
RF Receiver →Boiler
Starts or stops according to system demand.
e-Hub
Optional Smart Life remote connectivity.
e-Hub →Thermal Actuator
Controls individual manifold circuits.
Thermal actuator →Technical specifications
Key specifications and system characteristics for planning a compatible Quicksmart installation.
Control the boiler without a new cable to the manifold
Use the Q20 RF Receiver when the controller and boiler need a wireless heating-demand connection.
