QTV20 smart radiator control with boiler demand – 5 valves, e-Hub and RF Receiver
This Quicksmart QTV20 configuration provides complete control of both radiators and boiler demand. The 5 QTV20 valves regulate rooms independently, the e-Hub provides Smart Life control, and the RF Receiver can switch the boiler ON and OFF.
When one QTV20 detects a heat demand, it opens the radiator valve and sends a wireless request. The Receiver can switch the boiler ON so heat is produced only when at least one zone requires it.
As rooms reach their target temperatures, QTV20 valves close individually. The boiler can continue running while at least one zone still requires heat, providing room-by-room control without relying on a single wall thermostat.

How QTV20 controls radiators and boiler demand
QTV20 measures room temperature
The smart radiator valve compares room temperature with the selected setpoint.
It controls radiator flow
The internal motor opens or closes the radiator valve according to room heat demand.
Heat demand is sent by RF
QTV20 sends the heating request to the Receiver over 868 MHz radio communication.

QTV20 smart radiator valve for room-by-room heating control
QTV20 replaces a conventional thermostatic head and automatically regulates hot-water flow through the radiator.
Each radiator becomes an independent heating zone, allowing bedrooms, living rooms, offices and other rooms to operate at different temperatures.
QTV20 includes a motorised valve actuator, LED display, scheduling, holiday mode and open-window detection.
Advanced settings also include PI – Proportional Integral control for more precise temperature regulation.

The e-Hub is the smart connectivity centre of the QTV20 system.
Through the gateway, QTV20 valves can be added to Smart Life and each radiator can be controlled remotely.
The app allows room-by-room temperature changes, schedules and operating modes.
Q20 RF Receiver for automatic boiler ON/OFF control
The Receiver is what turns a radiator-only QTV20 setup into a complete heating-demand system.
When one QTV20 requests heat, the Receiver can switch the boiler ON.

Quick guide for connecting QTV20
Pairing depends on which component the QTV20 valve is being connected to.
Make sure the e-Hub is connected and online. Switch the QTV20 off by pressing and holding the ON/OFF button. Enter pairing mode until the connection icon flashes. In Smart Life, open the Gateway and add QTV20 as a sub-device.
Press and hold the Receiver pairing button until the LED flashes rapidly. Switch the QTV20 off, enter the connection menu and activate RF pairing. When the Receiver LED stops flashing, pairing is complete. Repeat the procedure for each QTV20 valve.
