Quicksmart Q30 additional wireless thermostat in Black is intended for extending an existing Quicksmart Q20 wireless underfloor heating system with one more independently controlled room or heating zone.

This product contains the Q30 thermostat only. It does not include an RF boiler receiver and is not a standalone boiler-control kit. The thermostat pairs with a compatible Q20 controller already installed in the system and communicates with it over 868 MHz RF.

The ultra-slim Q30 uses an easy-to-read E-Ink display, includes humidity sensing and a built-in rechargeable Li-Ion battery with USB-C charging. When the existing Q20 installation also uses the Quicksmart e-Hub, temperature settings and schedules can be managed remotely through Smart Life / Tuya.

What is the difference between the Q30 and Q20 thermostats?
Both work with the wireless Q20 system. Q30 is the premium option with e-Ink display, ultra-slim body and rechargeable battery, while Q20 is the practical touch-control model with an illuminated display.
What are the advantages of the Q30 thermostats included in this Q20 kit?
Q30 is the premium wireless Quicksmart thermostat, with an approximately 1 cm slim design, e-Ink display, glass front and rechargeable battery. It communicates wirelessly with the Q20 Controller.
What does the e-Hub Gateway do, and does heating still work if the internet goes down?
The e-Hub connects the system to Smart Life for remote access. If internet access is unavailable, local heating control continues to work; only remote app access is temporarily unavailable.
Do Q30 thermostats need wiring to the Q20 Controller?
No. Q30 thermostats communicate by radio with the Q20 Controller, so no control cable is required between the room thermostat and the manifold.
What is the Q20 Receiver included in the kit used for?
The Q20 Receiver sends the heating demand wirelessly to the boiler. It is especially useful when the boiler and manifold are in different locations and no control cable is available between them.
Is the Q20 system suitable for an already finished home?
Yes. Q20 is particularly suitable for finished homes and renovation projects because the thermostats communicate wirelessly with the controller.
