Description
Wireless underfloor heating control for an apartment with 4 independent temperature zones
This configuration is designed for homes with one main manifold and several temperature zones. 4 Q20 thermostats provide separate control across 4 zones, while the Q20 Controller coordinates the thermal actuators installed on the manifold.
Each zone can have its own temperature and heating schedule. The system activates only the circuits requesting heat, giving more precise control than a single central thermostat. Q20 thermostats communicate wirelessly with the Q20 Controller and can be positioned on a wall or furniture using the supplied stands. Temperature control and scheduling are also available through Smart Life.
Q20 can be used in new installations or existing systems without pre-installed thermostat wiring between rooms and the manifold.
The Q20 platform can be used for underfloor heating, manifold-based radiator systems or mixed underfloor-heating and radiator installations. It is suitable for new projects and for upgrading finished homes where thermostat wiring has not been prepared.

What is included in this Q20 underfloor heating control kit?
The configuration is generated automatically from the selected product.
How Q20 wireless underfloor heating control works
Each zone requests heat independently and the system activates only the required circuits.
The thermostat measures room temperature
The Q20 thermostat monitors the room and sends heat demand wirelessly.
The Q20 Controller receives the demand
The controller identifies the zone and activates the outputs assigned to its heating circuits.
Thermal actuators open the circuits
Actuators on the manifold allow water flow only through the circuits requesting heat.
The boiler starts automatically
The Q20 RF Receiver can send the wireless ON/OFF demand to the boiler.

Q20 Controller for wireless underfloor heating zone control
The Q20 Controller is the control centre of the wireless system. It coordinates heat distribution according to demand received from the room thermostats.
It can manage up to 8 thermostats and up to 32 thermal actuators. One thermostat can operate several manifold circuits, allowing the installation to be configured according to the real number of zones and heating loops.
The controller can operate the circulation pump and boiler, supports NC or NO actuators and allows a 0–6 minute start delay for the boiler and pump.

Q20 wireless thermostat with touch controls and Smart Life access
The Q20 wireless thermostat has a large negative LCD display with touch controls and communicates with the Q20 Controller at 868 MHz without thermostat wiring between room and manifold.
It can be powered by 2 AA batteries or USB 5 V / 1 A and can be positioned on the wall or on furniture using the supplied stands.

Q20 RF Receiver and e-Hub smart gateway
Boiler demand and remote app access are integrated into the same Q20 ecosystem.

Q20 RF Receiver
The receiver communicates wirelessly with the Q20 Controller and sends ON/OFF demand to the boiler. It operates at 868 MHz and is useful where there is no control cable between the manifold and boiler.

e-Hub Gateway
e-Hub connects the Q20 ecosystem to the internet and enables individual zone control and schedules through the Smart Life / Tuya app.

NC thermal actuators for underfloor heating manifolds
Thermal actuators are fitted to the manifold and automatically open or close the heating circuits. When a thermostat requests heat, the Q20 Controller powers the actuator assigned to that zone.
The complete version of this product includes 8 NC actuators. One temperature zone can control one or several manifold circuits, so actuator count is not the same as room count.

Quick pairing guide for the Q20 system
Essential steps for pairing Q20/Q30 thermostats, the Q20 RF Receiver and e-Hub.
Pairing the Q20 thermostat with the Q20 Controller
Power the controller, select channel 1–8 using the arrow buttons and press SET until the selected zone LED flashes rapidly.
With the thermostat switched off, press and hold M until the code appears, then press the up button. Wait until the controller LED stops flashing.
Pairing the Q30 thermostat with the Q20 Controller
Select channel 1–8 on the Controller and press SET for rapid flashing. With Q30 switched on, press and hold O and up for about 5 seconds, then press up again to connect.
Pairing the Q20 RF Receiver with the Controller
Press and hold Pairing on the receiver until LED 2 flashes rapidly. On the Controller, move to the slowly flashing receiver indicator and press SET.
Smart Life and e-Hub setup
Download Smart Life from Google Play or the App Store. Put e-Hub into Wi-Fi pairing mode using the Reset button, then add it as a device in Smart Life.
