Q20 wireless thermostat with Smart Receiver included – simple control without thermostat wiring
Quicksmart Q20 is a wireless thermostat for homes where no control cable is available between the thermostat position and the boiler. The package includes the Q20 thermostat and Smart/RF Receiver.
The thermostat communicates with the Receiver at 868 MHz. The Receiver sends ON/OFF demand to the boiler and includes Smart Life connectivity for remote temperature control and scheduling.
Q20 is suitable for boilers, radiator systems and underfloor heating, especially in finished homes or renovations where new thermostat cabling is undesirable.
What is included with this wireless thermostat?
The package contains two components designed to work together.
1× Q20 Thermostat
Room temperature control and wireless communication with the Smart/RF Receiver.
1× Smart + RF Receiver
Boiler ON/OFF control, 868 MHz RF communication and built-in Smart Life connectivity.
The thermostat and Smart Receiver operate as one system
Local room control, wireless boiler demand and Smart Life access.
The thermostat measures room temperature
Q20 compares the measured room temperature with the selected setpoint.
Heat demand is transmitted wirelessly
The thermostat communicates with the Smart Receiver at 868 MHz without a control cable between the two devices.
The Receiver controls the boiler
The Receiver starts or stops the boiler and provides Smart Life access.
Q20 wireless thermostat with touch controls and flexible power options
Q20 has a negative LCD display with touch controls, communicates at 868 MHz and can be powered by 2 AA batteries or USB 5 V / 1 A. It can be placed on a wall or furniture.

Smart Life Receiver for wireless boiler control
The Receiver receives heat demand wirelessly from the thermostat and switches the boiler ON or OFF.
Thermostat-to-Receiver communication uses 868 MHz, while Smart Life connectivity is built directly into the Receiver.
The Receiver is powered at 230 VAC, 50/60 Hz and is suitable where no control cable exists between thermostat and boiler.

Pairing the Receiver with the Q20 thermostat
Press and hold Pairing on the Receiver until LED 1 flashes rapidly.
Switch off the Q20 thermostat, press and hold M, then activate thermostat pairing mode.
When the Receiver LED stops flashing, pairing is complete.
Adding the Receiver to Smart Life
Download the Smart Life app.
Activate WiFi pairing mode on the Receiver, then add the device from the app.
After connection, temperature and schedules can be controlled from the phone.
